Welcome to C-Auctions. These Terms & Conditions explain how our consignment auction platform works and the rules that apply to sellers, buyers, and us (the platform operators).

By using this website or registering as a seller or bidder, you agree to these terms.

1. About C-Auctions

C-Auctions is a consignment auction platform. Sellers submit items, we review and list them, buyers place bids, and we handle the sale process, payments, and collection arrangements.

2. Seller Registration & Accounts

• Sellers must provide accurate personal and contact information.
• We may approve or decline any seller registration at our discretion.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken.

3. Submitting Items

• Sellers must own the items they submit (or have full legal authority to sell them).
• Items must be described honestly, including any damage or defects.
• We reserve the right to accept, reject, or request changes to any item submission.
• Once an item is approved and listed, the seller generally cannot withdraw it without our agreement.

4. Commission & Fees

• A commission is charged on successful sales. The current rate is shown when an item is approved or in the auction details.
• The commission is deducted from the final sale price before the seller is paid.
• We do not charge sellers an upfront listing fee unless clearly stated otherwise.

5. Bidding & Buying

• All bids are binding. If you are the highest bidder when an item closes, you are obliged to pay for the item.
• Bids cannot normally be cancelled once placed.
• We reserve the right to cancel bids or sales in cases of obvious error, fraud, or technical issues.

6. Payments

• Buyers must pay the full amount (including any agreed fees) within the timeframe we communicate.
• Sellers are paid only after we have received the buyer’s payment and any applicable collection confirmation.
• Payouts to sellers are made using the bank details they provide. It is the seller’s responsibility to keep these details up to date.

7. Collection & Delivery

• Unless otherwise agreed, items are collected by the buyer from the location we specify.
• Risk in the item passes to the buyer once collection is confirmed.
• We are not responsible for items after successful collection has been recorded.

8. Prohibited Items

We do not accept items that are illegal, stolen, dangerous, counterfeit, or that we reasonably believe should not be sold on this platform. We may remove any such items without notice.

9. Liability

• We act as a platform facilitator and are not the owner of the items being sold (unless clearly stated).
• We are not liable for the quality, condition, or legality of items supplied by sellers, beyond our reasonable review process.
• Our total liability to any user is limited to the amount of commission we earned on the relevant transaction.

10. Privacy

We collect and use personal information (such as names, phone numbers, and bank details) only for the purpose of operating the auction platform, processing payments, and communicating with users. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
